Eating For A Cause is a Sweet Whimsy's way of thanking the community for their support!  Sweet Whimsy teams up with an organizations and/or cause to help raise funds and awareness to their mission.  We pick a pastry and give a percentage of the proceeds from that pastry to the chosen cause.  It's that simple.

Nashville Flood Relief
Sweet Whimsy is proud to offer 15% of the profit from the sales of our Dixie Belle Cookies to Double Impact of Nashville Tennessee .  Double Impact is a not-for-profit organization helping those affected by the Great Nashville Flood of 2010. 
Double Impact is going to hold an on-line auction called CHAIRity.  The inspiration for CHAIRity came when a volunteer noticed a multitude of chairs discarded as trash in front of the affected home.  Double Impact asked the homeowners if they could have the chairs to be painted by visual artists, vocal artists, sports figures, and politicians.  The chairs will then be sold at auction starting next month with all proceeds going to the flood survivors.
